She is also a Board Member of some of the major companies of the Koç Group ranging from the automotive industry to durable goods, including finance, foreign trade, tourism and energy sectors.
Awards She has been rewarded by the President of Turkey with "Outstanding Service Award" for her works in the field of education.
Suna Kıraç has been rewarded by the London Business School with "Honorary Fellowship" on July 1,1999 for her contribution to Koç Holding, the business world and the education of the Turkish children with her outstanding management and leadership skill.
She has also been rewarded by the Association of Turkish University Women, Antalya Branch with "The Woman of the Year" award for her efforts in the foundation of the Research Institute on Mediterranean Civilazations and construction of the building of Volunteers of Education Foundation.
She was awarded with the honorary degree "Doctor Honoris Causa" by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Boğaziçi Üniversity in 15 July 2008.
