SEMAHAT ARSEL PLACED AS İSTANBUL’S THIRD HIGHEST TAXPAYER

With income tax payments of YTL 7,235,311, Koç Holding Board Member and Vehbi Koç Foundation Chairperson, Semahat Arsel, came third in the list of income tax paid as declared by the Istanbul Tax Office for the 2007 tax year.

For many years Semahat Arsel has been high on the list of largest taxpayers, stating that she is proud of being among Istanbul’s highest taxpayers.  Arsel pointed out that as government’s most significant income taxes also play on important role in achieving social justice.  Semahat Arsel added that  paying of taxes is a duty  all good citizens and that the Koç family, Koç Holding, and Koç Group, aim to set an example in this area.
