Once called a "Harem" (a secluded residence for a pasha’s or sultan’s wives), this building is now named the Vehbi Koç Building.
The Harem Building, in which the former office of Vehbi Koç, the founder of Koç Holding is located, today also houses the offices of the Honorary Chairman Rahmi M. Koç, Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa V. Koç, Vice Chairman Suna Kıraç and Temel Atay, President of the Banking and Insurance Group, and the office of the General Counsel. An indoor swimming pool building was later annexed to the Harem Building, and complements the overall architectural style perfectly.
