Demir Export A.Ş. has been producing iron ore since its establishment in 1957.  Over succeeding years, production of zinc, lead, silver, copper ore concentrates, concentrated and lumpy chromium ore, and coal have been added to the spectrum of offered products. Demir Export A.Ş. also produces approximately six million tons of coal annually.

In addition to production, Demir Export A.Ş. holds a significant position in other areas of the mining industry as well, including subcontracting, ore enrichment, and exploration and design projects.
