In the 2008 report of IDC, KoçSistem ranked 2nd in the Turkish Information Technologies Services Market. KoçSistem grew by 30% (on the basis of Turkish Lira) at the end of 2009 in comparison with the previous year.

Also the Leader in Development with its R&D and Innovation Center

In the R&D and Innovation Center, research, development, and innovative studies in the field of information technologies are carried out by more than 70 R&D engineers. The first product of these studies was Pixage, digital publishing application.

Although Pixage is a new product, it achieved immediate and remarkable success. In cooperation with Arçelik A.Ş, “New Generation Digital Broadcasting”, a new broadcasting model was formed by using capabilities of KoçSistem, Pixage and Arçelik. Pixage, which was installed in approximately 500 systems in Arçelik and Beko dealers in 2009, was also introduced in foreign countries, and now Liverpool FC TV programs are broadcasted on Beko screens using Pixage. Pixage was also installed in the systems in stadiums of 20 clubs in the Premier League. Fida Film also displays the films on approximately 500 screens in all of its movie theatres.

KoçSistem spent 2009 focusing on new investments, realizing new projects, and taking advantage of opportunities to create outsourcing technology.  KoçSistem is committed to continue developing the market by introducing new products/solutions/services and targets to become the leader in outsourcing service and solutions for the Turkish IT sector in 2010. 

A new technology center and manufacturer-independent platform, “KoçSistem Sahne”, was developed to test new technologies in realistic conditions. Hardware and software from the world’s largest producers are installed and placed online, thus allowing the companies to test their products before substantial expenditures for production are made.

In the field of corporate risk management implementations, business continuity and disaster rescue services are also provided to many customers by KoçSistem via Data Centers with international accreditation in Ankara and Istanbul.

KoçSistem Call Center Outsource Service Group was incorporated under the name “Callus Bilgi ve İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş.” on  September 11, 2009.

Technology solutions applications that make a difference

In accordance with its strategy, KoçSistem continues to focus on producing solutions and services. KoçSistem developed the infrastructure for the Paro project, one of the most important Customer Relations Management Projects of the Koç Group. KoçSistem successfully completed other important projects such as a Budget and Consolidation project, a Paperless Bank Branch project, and an Anti- Money Laundering project for the largest organizations in Turkey.

The Green Information Platform, a social responsibility project under the leadership of Koç Information Group, one of the members is KoçSistem, was awarded two major prizes in 2009. The Green Information platform was awarded the “Environment Responsibility Prize” by the Turkish Journalists’ Association and 60 NGOs. It was also awarded the “2009 Corporate Social Responsibility Prize” at the 7th International Finance Summit.
