Zer Merkezi Hizmetler was founded in August 2003 to carry out the procurement activities on behalf of Koç Group companies. Zer Merkezi Hizmetler serves as the central procurement platform,  providing the competitive advantage of economies of scale to customers as well as suppliers.

Zer provides additional value-added services by developing systems for profitability and cost standardization. To accomplish this, Zer has an HR Department with global capabilities that specializes in purchasing and technology.

The main objective of Zer is to increase the competitiveness of the Koç Group companies and to create a strategic platform whereby they can focus on their core business without the distractions suffered by non-profit making activities. In addition to the benefits created by the economies of scale from common administrative efforts that are centralized within Zer Merkezi Hizmetler, more efficient means of performing those activities are also provided by its expertise.

By observing and analyzing the materials and services from production through consumption, all necessary arrangements for sufficient quality standards and services are provided. Zer currently runs various projects in Marketing Services, Indirect - Direct Material, Services and Logistics.
