Burçun İmir
Corporate Communications Director
Born in Ankara in 1976, Burçun İmir graduated from Bilkent University, Department of International Relations, in 1998. İmir began her career in 1995 as a reporter at the Turkish Daily News; until 2008, she worked as a reporter, Middle East Representative, Deputy General Manager, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA), CNN International, CNNTÜRK, Doğan News Agency (DHA), BBC Turkish Service, Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, TV24, and Habertürk TV.
Between 2008 and 2019, İmir served as Corporate Communications Manager at Turkcell, Executive Vice President of Communication and Marketing at Aras Kargo, and Director of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Office at Allianz Turkey. From 2019 to 2021, with her own consultancy company, she provided services in sustainability, communication, brand, reputation, and management consultancy. In the same period, she also served as General Coordinator of DasDas. Starting in 2021, Burçun İmir joined Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI), where she most recently held the position of Executive Committee Member for Corporate Affairs and Sustainability.
