KOÇ HOLDING AND TURKISH OLYMPIC COMMITTEE JOIN FORCES ON THE WAY TO TOKYO 2020 SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES
Koç Holding has become the official sponsor of the Turkish Olympic Committee on the way to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games. Announcing the collaboration, Koç Holding Vice Chair of the Board Ali Y. Koç said: “In 2013, our paths has crossed with the Turkish Olympic Committee during the campaign we carried out as a country so that Istanbul could host the Olympics. Also at that time we, as Koç Group, have shouldered the responsibility and band together for our country. Now, in these difficult days as well, we stand by the Turkish Olympic Committee and our national athletes. We, as Koç Holding, have become the official sponsors of the Turkish Olympic Committee in order to support our athletes on the way to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games. Sports is invaluable for our country and we have to strive to transform this value into a factor that unites us. Hereby, I would like to wish success to nearly 100 national athletes from 18 branches who will be representing our country in Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games by continuing their training with determination and without giving up, despite the extraordinary concentration difficulties brought by a 1 year delay, without breaking away from their goals for a moment. I truly believe that the values represented by each of our Olympic athletes, the sacrifices they made on the way to the Olympics, their devotion, patriotism and their stance in life are a great spiritual legacy beyond medals for both us and future generations.”
